ALAN AXELROD is the author of numerous books, including the BusinessWeek bestseller Patton on Leadership: Strategic Lessons for Corporate Warfare, Encyclopedia of Wars, and America’s Wars. He is a military and general historian and has served as consultant to numerous museums and cultural institutions. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

JOHN MOSIER is the author of The Myth of the Great War, The Blitzkrieg Myth: How Hitler and the Allies Misread the Strategic Realities of World War II, and Cross of Iron: The Rise and Fall of the German Military Machine, 1918-1845.
